I hit the trail just after sunrise, expecting to photograph some
gorgeous water lilies in the early morning light...
but my original plan for a Friday Flower Pick didn't quite go as planned!!
...When I got to the pond, I discovered that those flowers like to sleep in;)!!
Not a single water lily ready for her close up, so I set out for Tonga Park where
I was instead treated to an absolute glory of morning sunshine, dainty pink flowers, and glittering water droplets.
