Friday Flower Pick : Debutante Camellia

Pretty in pink and practically perfect in every way,
Debutante Camellias are the current object of my obsession on my
Friday Flower Pick-ing walks these days!!

In Winter, when not much is in showy bloom,
to turn a corner and come suddenly face to face with
the Wonderland-like beauty of a display of camellias,
is a miraculous moment indeed!!

HappyFriday!!

Love,
MademoiselleMermaid

  1. That's so pretty!
Not sure where you're located, but here in North Carolina we're supposedly in winter. I still have shamrock plants and nasturtium blooming, and the camelia and hellebore (typically winter plants) are also budding. We slept with windows open on Christmas night! Crazy weather.

    1. Wow!! That sounds completely out of character for December, but at least you've had more time to enjoy your blooms!! I'm in SoCal, so I can usually find a little something blooming any day=) I've been totally taken with the Camellias=)...They're my favorite now!!
