The ornamental pear tree is an ornament to society indeed...
especially in February, when it fills up the clear blue sky with a dazzling display of bright young things!!

Those lovely and delicate petals are as ephemeral as they come...and soon the street will be a remarkable sight as they lazily flutter to the ground.

Friday Flower Pick : Greenery

By now, I'm sure you've heard that Pantone's Color of the Year #greenery is the new favorite neutral!! 
...Basic tans, grays, and beiges...step aside=)!! Let's do like mother nature does and accent our beautiful brights with something from the verdant side of the spectrum!!

Inspired by that notion, I hit the streets in search of a Friday Flower Pick to suit the spirit. To my surprise and delight, #greenery was everywhere, and looking especially lovely after these rainy days we've had lately!! Most of the roses around town have been pruned, and the springtime flowering trees are only beginning to bud...so I'm eternally grateful to #greenery for filling in the wintertime gap!!

Late January is a particularly busy time for a resort wear designer...with so many of my fabulous customers jetting off to fantastic places...and needing that special gauzy something that packs light and looks chic=)!!

Our rainy winter storms of late have given way to the most glorious of blue skies and springlike weather...that it had me playfully asking...January who?! More like Tan-uary, I gleefully thought to myself as I darted here 'n there on my beach cruiser over the weekend!!

Friday Flower Pick : Unbirthday Flowers

The rain may be leaving for a while now, so how about one last rainy day, flower picking hurrah?!!
