Mermaid Monday : In Pursuit of Rainbows

I woke up to a delightfully rainy morning that soon gave way to a gorgeous sunrise and a blue sky full of fluffy white clouds...a situtation just ripe for a rainbow!!
...Although I didn't spot one this time, I did whip up a new rainbow scarf pattern that will be available on Black Friday!!

Friday Flower Pick : Mellow Yellows

"Beacause dreams ain't the only thing in life worth chasing..."

(...it's a song, a good one=)

...In fact, there are butterflies, rose blooms, supermoons, and fairy's eye views worth chasing too!!

And that's how I spent the majority of my free time this week...wildly and gleefully chasing those natural wonders I love most. If you were in the downtown Santa Monica area at moonrise or moonset, you may have caught a glimpse of me flying past on my lit-up-like-a-Christmas-tree beach cruiser...red laser lights and two rainbow whirls in hot pursuit of some seriously mellow yellows!!

Mermaid Monday Blues

From the palest of blue skies in a pastel sunsnrise, to the sparkling sapphire of my favorite crushed velvet turban...I think I've enjoyed every shade of blue imaginable this past week!!

This highlight reel features a few of my favorite blue, blue moments of late....With the rainbow sparkling out from the crushing surf probably taking the cake as my favorite memory hazed in azure.

And do you know what else goes great with blue?!...a supermoon of course!!
