One of my favorite Santa Monica streets, Palisades Avenue, boasts many botanical charms, any time of the year!!
...But late August in particular, is host to some truly magical moments, when it's sidewalks are simply aglow with romantic, white blooming roses. A perfect spotlight of golden morning sun, bright green orbs of bokeh filtering through the foliage, and pretty pink varieties of roses...keep them in the most pleasant of company!!
Taking a cue from my favorite literary heroine, Anne of Green Gables...the only fitting name for this gorgeous promenade is "White Way of Delight".
